We are producing an original play very loosely based on Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice". Our organization is a non profit community based theatre group. I would love to have your permission to use your sketch on our posters for this production. We would of course attribute the work to you on the poster and in our program. The drawing conveys the feelings Shakespeare might have if he were to see what he hath wrought in the form of inspiration.
I hope to hear from you soon.

The person sitting next to you in church, the man in line at the grocery store, or one of your co-workers; any one of these could be involved with a gambling problem. Imagine your grandmother committing a crime to support her gambling addiction. I am a recovering alcoholic, gambler, and have recovered from other addictive behaviors. I published a book, Gripped by Gambling, where the readers can follow the destructive path of the compulsive gambler, a prison sentence, and then on to the recovery road.

I recently published a second book, Switching Addictions, describing additional issues that confront the recovering addict. If a person who has an addictive personality, doesn’t admit to at least two addictions, he’s not being honest. These are two books you might consider adding to your library. I also publish a free online newsletter, Women Helping Women, which has been on-line for more than ten years and is read by hundreds of women (and men) from around the world. (www.femalegamblers.info). I was interviewed and appeared on the 60 Minutes show in January 2011, which was moderated by Leslie Stahl.

Sincerely,

Marilyn Lancelot

Good post. I study one thing more challenging on completely different blogs everyday. It is going to always be stimulating to read content from different writers and apply somewhat something from their store. I’d prefer to make use of some with the content on my weblog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll offer you a link in your internet blog. Thanks for sharing.

I stayed at the Palace this week and spent some time gazing spellbound at the mural - eyes transfixed like those of the kids in the painting (beer played a role, in my case). Couldn't help but notice that the landscape looked more like the American west than northern Germany. Also, two adult women are sheparding the kids along, and I don't recall this being part of the legend. The headgear looks almost religious, and I wonder if Parrish was making a statement about a cult movement.
